Synopsis
The British
Journal of Canadian Studies is published twice-yearly by Liverpool University Press
on behalf of the British Association for Canadian Studies. It is an
interdisciplinary journal with a varied readership, and therefore welcomes contributions
that are accessible to colleagues specialising in a range of disciplines. There is normally
one ‘general’ issue and one ‘themed’ issue each year although this may vary. The Journal would
normally expect to publish articles associated with Canadian Studies in the
United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. These could be by academics working
in these two countries or by visitors taking part in British and Irish
conferences and seminars, whether organised directly by BACS and ACSI, or under
the auspices of regional and specialist groups. The Editor will also consider
articles that discuss Canada’s place and role in the wider English or French
speaking worlds. Literature reviews and articles on teaching and learning related
topics are also welcome.
